I hope you all had a great summer. Fall is just around the corner so I hope you’ll get a chance to spend more time outdoors and enjoy the cooler temperatures ahead.
In a few weeks we will begin the mandatory health and safety apartment inspections in BBI and BBII. We will be posting the start dates on the bulletin boards. We appreciate your cooperation during this process.
Also, I am very pleased to announce that we will be starting many new building renovation projects in the upcoming months. In BBI we will be installing all new ceiling tiles on the first floor and painting all the interior common areas throughout the building. New carpeting and furniture is also being ordered for many of the common areas in all three buildings. In BBII we will soon begin the new elevator modernization project. You will be notified in advance of all start dates for these projects. I apologize for any inconvenience, however, I think you will be very pleased with the outcome once the renovations are completed.
We are now offering Exercise Classes every Friday morning from 8AM to 9AM in the BBI Community Room. Jana Olivova, a FAU Pre-Med student and certified trainer has volunteer her time to help our residents get fit. Please try to come down and enjoy the fun. So far the resident feedback has been very positive. I am sure after one class you will be hooked, just like all the other residents that have attended. Thank you Jana for taking the time out of your busy schedule to help our residents at B’nai B’rith, we truly appreciate you.
Temple Shalom in Pompano Beach is again offering free tickets for both Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur Services. Please sign up at the reception desk in BBI building for your tickets.
Also, don’t forget our Annual Halloween Party on Friday, October 31st; remember the best costume wins the prize. As always, please check the bulletin boards on every floor for dates and times for all upcoming events.
Once again I have to remind you that Hurricane Season is now upon us. So please be prepared at all times.
Keep Well & Stay Safe,
